There is an interesting story at MedCity News.
Seems that CVS is trying to get their employees to take an active role in their own health by encouraging them to live more healthy lifestyles. Several groups are calling the CVS program an invasion of privacy. I believe that we will be seeing more companies adopt policies similar to CVS. Preventing disease by making healthier life choices is the only way health costs are going to come under control. Those terrified of an invasion of privacy are in the minority. But they are vocal. We’ll see if they can yell loud enough to stop progress.
